Protection from spam has become a need. More and more we see our
e-mail inboxes flooded with unwanted email, and some of them are even
dangerous. So finding an efficient email spam filter solution is fundamental.
But there are so many services that finding the right one can be complicated.
E-mail Spam Filter: the right service
Well, to start with, we should keep in mind that different services
might use different methods to filter or block spam. And the different
methods can have different strengths and weaknesses. For example,
some spam filters will allow you to check on the emails it flagged
as spam and confirm if they are really unsolicited email or not. This
can be good to prevent wanted emails to be mistakenly missed, but,
depending on the amount of spam you receive and your patience it can
also become tedious.
On the other hand, some other services use more accurate techniques
which allow them to filter spam more efficiently and you might not
ask you to confirm if the emails it flagged is really unwanted email.
But, there is not a 100% efficient method and you might loose a few
wanted emails if you do not go through it. Therefore, you might want
to find a service that is highly efficient and automatic but still
allows you to check on the filtered emails before permanently deleting
them. Many e-mail spam filter services work this way and keep the
filtered spam in a separate folder for certain period of time, allowing
you to check on it during such period.
